We’re excited to invite you on a creative journey across Alaska with the

Alaska Quilter’s Shop Hop 2026 - True North!

 

Introducing True North, an original new quilt pattern designed by Marie Noah, showcasing 16 unique blocks and one finishing kit.

Event Dates: May 22nd - September 7th, 2026

Featuring: 16 Block Kits - 16 Alaska Shops plus the True North Finishing Kit

Goal: Collect them all!

Visit participating shops anytime during the event and discover a unique, exclusive block kit at each location.

Every Block Kit Includes:

·    Laser-cut, pre-fused appliqués

·     Coordinating fabrics

A full-color pattern to complete the block as shown. 

Whether you're traveling across Alaska or shopping from home, every participating shop will offer online ordering and shipping through their individual websites - making it easy to join the fun from anywhere.

All event details, including each block and its participating shop, will be available on the official Alaska Quilter’s Shop Hop page on our website. You’ll be able to explore each shop, place your orders, start collecting your blocks, or even plan your trek across the state! 

Please be patient as the shops update their websites with their exclusive blocks. The official first day for in-store pickup and shipping of block kits is May 22nd, 2026. 

Finishing kits are scheduled to be available starting July 2026.

Late summer brings us beautiful fireweed which can be seen in the foreground of the block.  This block was designed from and inspired by a photo taken by Becky Gonce, one of RainTree’s team members. This laser cut kit is fusible and a perfect souvenir to remember visiting Alaska.

We recommend that you use a product like Pattern Ease or Easy Pattern to fuse the cut pieces to.  The kit contains approximately 105 cut pieces.
